On Monday, June 8, 2020, NUGHI hosted its first Book Club Event. The book was Killing the Black Body by Dorothy Roberts. It is a fascinating read depicting a powerful account of the ongoing assault - both literally and figuratively - waged by the American government and embedded in the societal mentality regarding the reproductive rights of Black women.

The book for the month of July is Superior: The Return of Race Science by Angela Saini. We will discuss the book on Tuesday, July 28, 2020, from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
